General Sir James Steele

Last week I received an email from Mark McKinty from Larne requesting some information on source documentation on the 59th (Staffordshire) Division. He enclosed an article that he had penned last summer to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of General Sir James Steele which I thought may be of interest to visitors of this site.

General Sir James Steele commanded the 59th (Staffordshire) Division from 15th February 1941 to 5th April 1942.
